Güzin Erkoç Kajak, LMHC, EMDRT
 

Founder of Agape Compass Counseling Services, Güzin Erkoç Kajak was born in 1980 and is a mother of three. She graduated from Boğaziçi University, Department of Psychology, in 2003. Between 2005 and 2007, she completed her master’s degree in Counseling Services at Denver Seminary in Denver, Colorado, USA.

 

Committed to her professional development, Güzin Erkoç Kajak completed both levels of EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) therapy training in 2017 and 2019. Following detailed supervision in 2022-2023, she earned the title of EMDR Therapist certified by EMDR Europe. She further expanded her expertise with Internal Family Systems (IFS) Therapy training in 2024, and IFS-Informed EMDR and Attachment-Focused EMDR training in 2025.

For over a decade, Güzin Erkoç Kajak has worked with clients aged seven to seventy, utilizing approaches such as EMDR, Internal Family Systems (IFS), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Lifespan Integration Therapy, and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy, tailored to each client’s unique needs.
